Pet Blood Bank

Our goal is to save pets’ lives by supplying animal blood products for life-saving transfusions. We are committed to conducting ourselves in an entirely ethical and humane manner for the benefit of both the recipient and the donor. Donor animals are veterinary team members’  pets as well as pets from people within the local community. All pets are examined and screened for diseases before being accepted into the program and must adhere to strict requirements such as age and weight restrictions. To ensure healthy donors, we use an optimal waiting period between donations. Our blood processing equipment ensures the most efficient handling of blood products from the time of donation to the need for a transfusion in a hospitalized patient.
